Baim Wong Goes Through His First Ramadan Without Paula Verhoeven, Remains Focused on the Children

Kapanlagi.com - Baim Wong is observing Ramadan this year under different circumstances. For the first time, this actor and YouTuber is fasting without his wife, Paula Verhoeven, by his side amid an ongoing divorce process.

"Ramadan is fine," Baim said briefly when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (5/3/2025).

When asked about his feelings about going through Ramadan without Paula, Baim admitted that there was no significant difference. "Ah, it's nothing special, just fine," he added.

Nevertheless, Baim continues to show his commitment as a father to bring happiness to his children. According to him, his main focus is to ensure that his two children, Kiano Tiger Wong and Kenzo Eldrago Wong, still feel close to their parents even during the divorce process.

"The point is, God willing, to make the children happy, they love their parents, especially their mother," Baim revealed.

1. Talking About Kiano Starting Fasting & Plans for Eid

Regarding Ramadan activities, Baim explained that his eldest son, Kiano, has just started learning to perform the tarawih prayers. "Not yet, he just started tarawih," he said. Baim appeared enthusiastic to see Kiano's spirit in getting to know the worship.

When talking about Eid plans, Baim confirmed that he will celebrate it in Jakarta. "My Eid is in Jakarta. Pray for this," he said, without providing further explanation regarding the meaning of his statement.

2. Hopes Regarding the Trial

The divorce process with Paula has also caught attention. When asked about the continuation of the trial, Baim simply replied that he would follow the existing process. "Yeah, just follow it," said the 42-year-old man.

Regarding the final decision in the trial, Baim only hopes for the best for his children. "Yeah, just pray for the kids," he concluded.
