Baim Wong mentions that Paula Verhoeven was scared when she was declared to have been exposed to Covid-19

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, Paula Verhoeven was declared to have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. The news started when Paula had her second child's pregnancy checked by a doctor.

During the examination, Baim Wong's wife had to undergo a blood test as one of the steps in the examination of her pregnancy. Shortly after, the doctor said that Paula had tested positive for COVID-19. Because of this incident, Paula panicked and couldn't believe it because she and her family often undergo swab tests.

"Paula just went to the hospital again to make sure. So the incident actually happened when Paula was pregnant and had to undergo a blood test. When she had the blood test, my doctor at Rumah Sakit Bunda, Dr. Kiano, said, 'Ma'am, have you ever had COVID-19? Or have you been vaccinated? Because the antibodies are already there,'" said Baim Wong, Paula Verhoeven's husband when met in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday night (24/3).

"Paula said no, she hasn't been infected. 'Oh, but ma'am, according to the data, you have.' 'Not yet, doctor. We often undergo swab tests'," he continued.

1. Moment of Fear

At that time, Paula seemed very panicked and immediately contacted Baim Wong. She mentioned that Paula was afraid of her condition. After that incident, Paula isolated herself at home, starting from sleeping and doing other activities while keeping her distance from Kiano and her husband.

"She was really scared at that time, Paula was very afraid, she even WhatsApped me, 'darling, they said this even though it's not true yet'. She was afraid that it would affect her pregnancy," he said.

2. Known for a Long Time

However, Baim Wong believed that his wife had been exposed to COVID-19 long before it was known by her obstetrician. Nevertheless, Paula still underwent another swab test to make sure of her condition.

"At first, we were separated (in different rooms) but now we're not because she has tested negative three times. It seems like she had it for quite a while. Because the diagnosis was only recently discovered from the blood test. But after that, she tested negative again," he concluded.
