Kapanlagi.com - Baim Wong is developing his culinary business again. This time, Paula Verhoeven's husband opened his newest culinary venture, Sate Celup. Interestingly, while satay is usually associated with chicken or goat meat, Baim Wong uses the best quality tenderloin meat.
“We finally chose Sate Celup. Although there are still problems, but God willing, I'm really happy, we're opening again,” said Baim Wong during the opening of Sate Celup in Cinere, Depok, West Java, Friday (24/11).
Baim Wong said he has been trying his hand at the culinary business since 2007. However, not everything has been successful. He has experienced failure numerous times. But from those failures, Baim Wong has learned a lot.
“A lot (of culinary businesses). From 2007 until now, but it didn't work out, not because of that, it's more towards learning, what's lacking, there's a lot. But it's enjoyable, learning is enjoyable,” said Baim Wong.
For his Sate Celup outlet, Baim Wong doesn't have a target. For him, the most important thing is to consistently work on his business, as well as maintaining the taste of the food he sells.
“They say they want to open many (outlets), but for now, it's more towards being consistent, whether it's a restaurant or anything else,” said Baim Wong.
For his culinary business, Baim Wong is also assisted by a team. Meanwhile, with Paula Verhoeve, Baim Wong only invites sharing but does not want to burden his wife.
"I have delegated it to others. I have a team, they work but with guidance from us, our supervision. (Sharing with my wife) actually yes. But she released me. I don't want to burden my wife's mind," he concluded.
