Invited as a guest on Denny Sumargo's Youtube recently, actor and director Baim Wong opened up about his past bad habits that often caused problems in his marriage.
During the divorce process, Baim opened up about his ex-wife, Paula Verhoeven, and realized there were several things he really needed to improve.
"I need to listen more, be more patient, and yield more; there are many things, bro," said Baim. He recalled the old days when he was stubborn, hard to yield, and indifferent to other people's opinions.
In fact, his older brother, Hamzah, once had to reprimand him because his behavior was considered excessive. "That's what I said earlier, I need to listen. Now when people talk, I can be quiet. Before (I would deny), (now) I yield more," he explained.
Densu then chimed in about communication. "What about communication?" asked Densu. Honestly, Baim admitted, "Communication, that's right..." he acknowledged.
Now, after going through the divorce, Baim says he has learned to understand others more."Especially after this issue, I've learned a lot," he mentioned.
