Bang Madit Tells About Lifestyle Changes After Being Treated Due to High Blood Sugar

Ramdhani Hasbullah, also known as Bang Madit, recently shared his story about his experience undergoing intensive care in the hospital due to a spike in blood sugar levels. This father of one admitted that the incident became an important lesson in his life.

"Yes, thank God after leaving the hospital, I was really given strict advice by the doctor, and ultimately at home, I didn’t fast at first, and then after three days I started fasting," said Bang Madit when met in the Merdeka Barat area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (27/3/2025).

"Alhamdulillah now I am well-protected. I should not sleep later than 10 PM, and I wake up feeling fresh. After sahur, I usually, who never exercised, have to exercise, even if it’s just a little movement," he stated.

Before being treated, Bang Madit’s lifestyle could be considered irregular. He admitted to often eating instant noodles at night with sweet tea. "For a long time, it can be said that his eating habits or lifestyle were quite messy. His sleep schedule was irregular, and he would sometimes come home at 2:30 or even close to dawn," he revealed.

The spike in his blood sugar reaching 600 was a serious warning to take better care of his health.

"Alhamdulillah, now it fluctuates, checked almost below 200, alhamdulillah. Last time it was 180, but sometimes it goes below 100," said Bang Madit gratefully.

He also started changing his habits when breaking his fast with healthy options, such as warm water and dates. "So I break my fast with warm water first, a glass of warm water, then I eat three dates, and after that, I don't eat anymore. I only have a big meal after the Maghrib prayer," he explained.

Bang Madit hopes that with these lifestyle changes, his health will improve and he can continue to carry out his activities smoothly.
