Barbie Kumalasari Claims to Still Accompany and Maintain Communication with Galih Ginanjar After the Ikan Asin Verdict

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, the South Jakarta District Court has handed down a verdict on the defamation case related to the Ikan Asin video on Monday (4/13). The case implicated Rey Utami, Pablo Benua, and Galih Ginanjar.

The verdict hearing, which was conducted via teleconference, has determined different sentences for the three defendants. Rey Utami was sentenced to 1 year 4 months in prison, Pablo Benua 1 year 8 months, and Galih Ginanjar received the longest sentence of 2 years 4 months.

1. Galih Ginanjar Receives Longest Sentence

Galih Ginanjar, who received the longest sentence, indeed plans to appeal. This was directly conveyed by Barbie Kumalasari, Galih's second wife, when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Friday (17/4).

"Regarding the verdict yesterday, our team is currently discussing whether we will appeal or accept it, we are still discussing it," said Barbie Kumalasari.

"Several times I couldn't see him, especially during the verdict, because ever since the implementation of PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions), we couldn't gather and Galih is also in the Polda detention center, so the trial is conducted via teleconference, so there's no point for me to come to the South Jakarta court," she continued.

2. Barbie Continues to Maintain Communication

In addition, there were rumors that Barbie Kumalasari wanted to divorce Galih Ginanjar. However, Kumalasari affirmed that she is still faithfully accompanying Galih Ginanjar until all aspects related to this case are resolved. She even admitted that she and Galih are still maintaining good communication and relationship.

"Of course, I still have contact with Galih, until yesterday as well, both directly and through my legal team. We are still maintaining communication and our relationship is still good until now," said Barbie Kumalasari.
