Barli Asmara Passed Away, Rinaldy Yunardi: Shocked and Very Sad

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news once again envelops the Indonesian entertainment world. Famous designer, Barli Asmara has just passed away at the age of 42. This news has been confirmed by Barli's colleague, Rinaldy Yunardi.

"Yes, it's true, I just received the news of his passing today," said Rinaldy Yunardi when contacted by phone on Thursday (27/8/2020).

1. Not Yet Aware of the Details

Rinaldy said that until now he has not received detailed information about Barli Asmara's funeral arrangements. He only knows that Barli is currently in Bali. 

"Well, I am friends with him, but not very close. I don't really know the details. As far as I know, he is in Bali. If you want to know about his illness and how it happened, it's better to ask his family. As friends, we shouldn't just talk without knowing the facts. When there is news like this, we are grieving," he said. 

2. Surprised and Sad

As a friend and fellow designer, Rinaldy Yunardi feels a great loss over the departure of Barli Asmara. 

"I am surprised and very, very sad. I was happy and amazed by his work. I can't say much because I am just sad, what else can I say, just a loss, a great loss," he explained. 

3. Last Meeting

Rinaldy also revealed that his last meeting with the late Barli took place at the end of 2019.

"It's been a long time, because fashion activities nowadays often get delayed and don't run smoothly. The last time we met was last year. It's been a long time. There were many fashion events held at the end of last year, we still met," he concluded.
