Giring Ganesha Responds to Randy Nidji's Tweet about Running for President: I Have to Be Fair

Kapanlagi.com - After leaving the band Nidji, Giring Ganesha has been more focused on politics. Now he even dares to run for President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024. So, what is the support from his friends in Nidji? 

"I have to be fair, there's nothing to hide. The last time I communicated with Ariel was on my birthday, and also with Andro and Adri. We also had a chat during Ramadan," said Giring during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (26/8).

1. Already Have Their Own Goals

Besides rarely meeting and communicating, Giring said that he and the members of Nidji already have their own goals. However, he admitted that he always updates and supports Nidji's works. 

"Just because at that time we haven't discussed about the presidential candidacy, so we didn't talk much and it seems that we, because we already have our own goals, don't update our plans too often," he said. 

"Even though I always update all of their works, the latest ones are the songs Wadoow and then Segitiga Cinta, I always update and support," continued Giring 

2. Responding to Randy's Tweet

However, not long ago, when Giring declared himself as a candidate for the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024, Randy Nidji wrote a tweet that was allegedly directed towards Giring. Although Randy did not explicitly mention the name. 

"Wadoow.. becoming more uncertain! My hashtag for the next 4 years. #IWillDefinitelyChooseSomeoneElse #SaveIndonesia," wrote Randy Nidji on his Twitter.

Regarding the tweet, Giring responded to it casually. He also mentioned Nidji members who expressed their disappointment towards Giring in Ari Lasso's vlog some time ago.

"For the rest, like Randy and Rama, they were also in Ari Lasso's video and they said various things, but for me, they are my friends and I will always support Nidji until now," he concluded.
