Joining the Former National Police Chief's Daughter, Lucky Hakim Runs in the 2020 Regional Election as the Deputy Regent of Indramayu

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, there has been a buzz on social media about Lucky Hakim, a celebrity who is participating in the 2020 Regional Election in Indramayu Regency, West Java. Lucky stated that he is serious about competing as a candidate for the city leadership in the famous Mango-producing region of West Java.

Lucky revealed that he is partnering with Nina Agustin Da'i Bachtiar, the daughter of former National Police Chief Da'i Bachtiar, and has obtained support from the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Gerindra, and Nasdem, as well as maintaining communication with other political parties. These include PKB, PKS, Hanura, and Perindo.

"Alhamdulillah, the political process is still running smoothly so far," said the former Member of the Indonesian Parliament for the period 2014-2019 in a conversation with the media on Thursday (20/8/2020).

"Praise be to Allah, so far everything has been smooth, and I am partnering with Mbak Nina Da'i Bachtiar, the eldest daughter of Mr. Da'i Bachtiar. Alhamdulillah, we have received official approval from the Central Executive Board of PDIP and Gerindra. We have also received a formal endorsement from the Central Executive Board of Nasdem, as evidenced by the issued letter. Furthermore, political communication is still ongoing with PKB, PKS, Hanura, and Perindo. Hopefully, there will be good news soon," said the 40-year-old man born in Cilacap.

Although not born in Indramayu, Lucky Hakim is an artist with Indramayu blood from Kedokan Bunder, one of the regions in Indramayu. He claims to be called to help develop his hometown.

"My mother is a native of Indramayu. This is like one of my dedications to my late mother and my entire family. This is called returning to the hometown and actually building it. I want to serve my hometown. Hopefully, my aspirations can come true," said the father of one child.

Lucky hopes to continue to promote economic growth and improve the welfare of the people of Indramayu through the fisheries sector. Lucky Hakim will also focus on the education, health, and especially the agriculture sector in Indramayu.

"I have discussed it with my family. Although previously my electoral district was in Bekasi and Depok when I was a member of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI), due to the thought of wanting to serve in my parents' hometown, I finally decided to run in Indramayu," said the man known as an animal lover and environmental activist.
