Bastian Steel's Confession of Having a Relationship with Chelsea Islan and the Reason for their Breakup

Bastian mentioned that he and Chelsea were in a relationship for a year. The relationship initially started because of a location-based love (cinlok) when they were both involved in shooting the same film. The question is, why did they tend to hide their relationship from the public?

"I wanted to keep it low-key with her (Chelsea), it was my decision. It's not that I lack confidence, but I prefer to keep it low-key and do things as we please," said Bastian.

Bastian admitted that he was very comfortable in a relationship with Chelsea without having to publicize it. And according to him, the strategy he applied at that time was quite successful in deceiving the public and the mass media.

"If I were caught dating Chelsea, there would be many paparazzi, but when I keep it low key, people think we're not dating, we're just friends. So I can eat, go to dinner anywhere and no one will care, and it worked," he continued.

When their relationship was going smoothly, why did it end halfway? Bastian then blamed Chelsea for it.

"It was revealed (that we were dating) because it was my birthday and she gave me a gift, she was happy, she uploaded it on her stories, she was too excited. Because it became public, I broke up with her," he revealed.
