BCL's First Performance After the Departure of Ashraf Sinclair, Crying on Stage

Kapanlagi.com - The sudden departure of Ashraf Sinclair deeply saddened Bunga Citra Lestari. For over a week, the mother of one couldn't meet the media, let alone continue her work in the entertainment industry. BCL even missed being a judge at the grand final of Indonesian Idol X a while ago.

However, on Friday night (28/2), BCL performed in public for the first time again. The 36-year-old woman performed at the Friday Fusion event held at SQ Dome, Cilandak, South Jakarta. That night, BCL appeared in an all-black outfit.

The woman, affectionately called Unge, greeted the fans who had been waiting for her appearance on stage before performing some of her popular hits.

1. BCL Cries When Performing the Song 'Because I Love You'

A touching moment occurred when BCL performed the song Because I Love You. In the middle of her performance, she stopped singing, remained silent for a moment, and then cried. Occasionally, she wiped the tears that fell on her cheeks.

This moment immediately made the audience feel sad. Some people even gave her a bouquet of white roses from below the stage, which was accepted by BCL while continuing to sing. The sound of her sobbing could still be heard occasionally in her singing voice.

3. BCL's Next Performance

Today, Saturday (29/2), BCL is also confirmed to perform again at Ronan Keating's concert. This news was confirmed by the management themselves some time ago.

"Despite grieving, BCL ensures that she will still professionally perform at the concert with Ronan Keating. Because Ronan Keating is one of the artists that BCL has known since the 1990s. So, this is a positive thing for BCL to continue her work, and BCL is sure that her late husband would also want this," said Yenny Erlin, BCL's PR team, when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Monday (24/2).

According to Yenny, BCL has prepared herself to perform at the concert that will be held in the Grand Ballroom of Pullman Jakarta Central Park.

"BCL has prepared several songs that she will perform solo and also in a duet with Ronan Keating and Christian Bautista. It can be said that BCL is ready to perform at the concert on February 29, 2020," she added.
