Because of Acting in the Movie 'MENCURI RADEN SALEH', Angga Yunanda is Interested in Becoming a Hacker

Kapanlagi.com - Young actor Angga Yunanda admits to being addicted to learning about IT after playing the role of Ucup in the movie MENCURI RADEN SALEH. Ucup himself is a hacker who is the mastermind behind the theft of Raden Saleh's paintings.

In order to delve into his role, Angga studied the subject with Teguh Aprianto, an Indonesian hacker who is famous both domestically and internationally and currently works as a cyber security researcher. Angga said he gained a lot of knowledge about the IT world.

"I'm really interested because before playing this character, I was quite far from the IT world," said Angga Yunanda during a press conference for the film "Mencuri Raden Saleh" in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (16/12) afternoon.

"After seeing it, it turns out that this can be one of the enjoyable hobbies, but I'm still new to it and still have a long way to go," he continued.

1. Becoming More Cautious

Angga admitted to becoming more cautious about cybercrime after studying it. In fact, he was shown some facts about data leaks.

"Yesterday I was shown that our data can be accessed by anyone. That is actually a very fatal thing and it is necessary to raise public awareness," he said.

2. An Almost Impossible Film

For a long time, Angga Yunanda has wanted unusual roles like in MENCURI RADEN SALEH. When it finally came, he became nervous because this type of film is very rarely made by Indonesian filmmakers.

"To be honest, this is one of the projects that makes me nervous. Even from the beginning, like, huuuuh, the burden is quite heavy because it's crazy. Personally, I keep thinking, can Indonesia make a film like this? Because this is a genre that I've been waiting for. Alhamdulillah, it finally happened. This is something almost impossible but can be realized by Visinema," explained Shenina Cinnamon's partner.

3. Talking to Yourself in Front of the Mirror

To deepen his character, Angga Yunanda watches many movies and series. He often reads the script and acts it out in front of the mirror.

"I watch action movies or series as a reference. I read a lot of scripts, practice alone in front of the mirror, talk to myself, wherever and whenever I try to portray The Hacker's character," said the actor whose name is currently on the rise.

4. About STEALING RADEN SALEH

This film, directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, tells the story of six young people planning to steal the painting of the Capture of Prince Diponegoro by Raden Saleh in the President's palace. This group of young people is played by actors such as Iqbaal Ramadhan (The Forger-Piko), Angga Yunanda (The Hacker-Ucup), Aghniny Haque (The Brute-Sarah), Umay Shahab (The Handyman-Gofar), Ari Irham (The Driver-Tuktuk), and Rachel Amanda (The Negotiator-Fella).

Each character has unique abilities that match their nicknames. In addition to the six young actors mentioned above, the film STEALING RADEN SALEH also features Dwi Sasono, Atiqah Hasiholan, Tio Pakusadewo, Andrea Dian, and Ganindra Bimo.
