Examined as Defendant, the Driver Claims Nia Ramadhani Asked Him to Buy Sabu Narcotics

Kapanlagi.com - The ongoing trial regarding the drug case involving defendants Nia Ramadhani and her husband, Ardi Bakrie, Zen Vivanto, their driver, resumed at the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday (12/16). The trial scheduled the third examination of the defendants, which started at around 10:00 AM.

During the trial, Zen Vivanto gave his testimony when questioned by Hamim. He stated that he bought the sabu at the request of Nia Ramadhani.

"It was requested by Madam (Nia). I always did it for Madam," Zen said during the trial.

1. Purchased From Someone with the Initial R

Zen also explained that the crystal meth was purchased from someone with the initial R whom he had just met. The illegal substance from R is what he, Nia Ramadhani, and Ardi Bakrie consumed.

"(Used) by the three of us. There's always some left. There is still some of the substance (crystal meth) left," he said.

This is the third trial undergone by the three defendants. The previous trial was scheduled for the examination of witnesses presented by the public prosecutor (JPU).

2. Arrested for the Drug Type Crystal Meth

It is known that Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie were arrested for drug abuse in the Pondok Pinang area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, in July 2021. In addition to Nia and Ardi, the police also arrested their personal driver, Zen Vivanto. The police seized 0.78 grams of crystal meth along with a bong (crystal meth pipe).

The drug abuse by Nia and Ardi was uncovered after the police searched Zen Vivanto. Zen Vivanto then revealed that the owner of the crystal meth was his superior, Nia.
