Because of Corona, Rangga Moela is Sad that He Can't Go Home for Eid

Kapanlagi.com - One of the moments that Rangga Moela longs for when Ramadan comes is breaking the fast together with friends. But unfortunately, it cannot be done this year due to the corona virus pandemic.

"The moment that I long for is definitely breaking the fast together. Usually with friends from junior high school, high school, college, and also artist friends, not to mention social gatherings. Those things cannot be done during this fasting month," said Rangga Moela when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/4).

1. Follow the Government's Advice Not to Go Home

Complying with the government's advice not to travel home, this year Rangga Moela cannot go to Bandung to celebrate Eid with his grandmother. "Actually, I want to go home because my extended family is in Bandung. But for this year, it's unlikely that I can go back to Bandung to celebrate Eid with my grandmother," said Rangga Moela.

"There are government regulations that prohibit traveling home. What can we do? We can't possibly violate the rules. All of this is to break the chain of the disease and to quickly recover Indonesia from the existing pandemic," he continued.

2. Sad Not Being Able to Gather with Family

He also admitted that he is very sad because this year he cannot gather with his extended family in Bandung for Eid. But for the sake of everyone's well-being, Rangga Moela has to accept the current situation.

"It's definitely sad to imagine. Usually, during Eid, we greet each other and ask for forgiveness with our extended family. But now, maybe we can only greet and ask for forgiveness with our immediate family. We can't even gather with close relatives. But what else can we do? This is the current condition, and there are government restrictions that everyone must obey for the common good," Rangga Moela concluded.
