Because of Raw Jengkol, Susan Sameh Causes Yoshi Sudarso to Have Trust Issues

Because they have known each other for a long time, Susan dared to tease Yoshi on the shooting location. While waiting for the set arrangement to finish, Susan asked the actor, who lives in America, to eat raw jengkol.

"There was raw jengkol on the shooting location. Yoshi didn't know about jengkol, so I called him over and said, 'Come here, try this delicious food, it's my favorite'. He asked, 'How do I eat it?', and I said, 'Just bite it', and he bit it right away. Since then, he has been traumatized, more towards trust issues," said Susan when met in the Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/10/2023).

1. Experience an Extraordinary Bitterness

Yoshi Sudarso had never known and eaten jengkol before. When following Susan Sameh's instructions to bite it, his tongue immediately felt an extraordinary bitterness.

"When I tried biting it and slowly swallowing it, imagine eating something that tastes so bitter. And the smell still lingered all day," Yoshi recalled when met in the same place.

2. Jengkol, Susan Sameh's Favorite Food

Susan Sameh herself turns out to be someone who likes to consume jengkol when it is cooked. However, she has never experienced what raw jengkol tastes like. And Yoshi Sudarso is the victim of her prank.

"My favorite food is jengkol, but the cooked one. Honestly, I have never tried the taste of raw jengkol," Susan concluded.
