Becoming a New Judge on 'Indonesian Idol', Rossa Denies Replacing Bunga Citra Lestari

In this season, in addition to Maia Estianty, Anang Hermansyah, Ari Lasso, and Judika, Rossa fills the vacant seat left by Bunga Citra Lestari. Many have said that Rossa is replacing Bunga, but she firmly denies this.

"I am not replacing her. Maybe because this is a special season and Bunga still wants to stay at home longer, so I can come back as a judge," said Rossa in a press conference last Thursday (12/11/2020).

Rossa herself has been a judge on Indonesian Idol in the seventh season. She is happy to be back because she believes that being a judge in a talent search competition is always enjoyable.

"For me, it's always a pleasure to be involved in the talent search process and to witness the success of new idols. In life, it's not just about work, but things like this are why me and my friends are excited because we are part of someone's success," explained the singer of the song Tegar.

2. Nickname for Ari Lasso

In addition to Indonesian Idol, Rossa often serves as a judge in other talent search competitions. But this is the first time she has been paired with Ari Lasso and they often exchange opinions and thoughts.

So much so that Rossa has some nicknames for Ari Lasso. One of them is "Ari Saranghae Lasso," Rossa replied with a laugh.
