Becoming a Police Officer in the Action Series 'DENDAM', Cinta Laura Shows Potential - Challenges Herself with Stunt-Free Scenes

Kapanlagi.com - Cinta Laura stars as the main character in the series titled DENDAM. This action genre presentation is an adaptation of the popular soap opera DERU DEBU from the mid-90s.

Cinta is cast as a character named Renata, who works as a police detective. To bring her role to life, she undergoes choreography training to memorize dozens of movements.

"In less than two weeks, I was asked to learn twenty choreographies. On one hand, my heart raced, but on the other hand, it teaches me as an actor to memorize choreography quickly and learn the details well," said Cinta when met in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (17/9/2024).

In the DENDAM series created by Razka Robby Ertanto, Cinta Laura performs action scenes without a stuntman. This is done to showcase potential that has never been seen before.

"Through this series, my potential as someone who really enjoys challenging and extreme things is finally given a chance. Honestly, if asked whether I prefer action or drama, I choose action by far," explained Arya Vasco's girlfriend.

2. A Very Active Figure

Cinta Laura grew up with offers for identical characters. When given the opportunity to perform in action scenes, for her, there is no such thing as no. Coincidentally, Cinta has been an athlete since childhood and has a background in muay thai.

"I have never played as a police detective. Throughout my career, I have more often portrayed beautiful women that lean towards soft and elegant. In daily life, I am very active and find it challenging to learn complex choreography, which makes me happy. Hopefully, this is not the last time I play in an action series," concluded Cinta Laura.
