Becoming a Witness for Jerinx SID's Case, Doctor Tirta Reveals Conversations with Adam Deni

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the trial in the case of alleged threats of violence with defendant Jerinx was held again on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Central Jakarta District Court. In this trial, finally Doctor Tirta appeared as a witness for the defendant Jerinx.

In his statement, Doctor Tirta admitted that the reporter Adam Deni had contacted him after receiving a phone call containing alleged threats from Jerinx. He said that the essence of the conversation was that Adam Deni was upset and angry after being called by Jerinx.

"After a debate dispute in the Instagram comment section with Jerinx, Adam Deni contacted me via WhatsApp and phone. At that time, the essence of his statement was that he was upset being insulted by Jerinx. Not because of fear, but anger and upset," said Doctor Tirta.

Not only that, at that time, Dr. Tirta tried to calm Adam Deni down but it was unsuccessful. In fact, the man named Tirta Mandira Hudi also revealed that Adam Deni's superior asked him to report Jerinx.

"As far as I know, he was upset and angry. He sent a message saying that he was angry, I tried to calm him down but he remained angry," he said.

"That was after he said there was attention from his superior who wanted to report him. He often said that to me, but he never mentioned the name of his boss," he continued.

In this hearing, in addition to bringing Dr. Tirta, Jerinx's party also brought I Wayan Arjono as a witness. It is known that Jerinx is charged with violating Article 29 Jo Article 45 B of the ITE Law and Article 27 Paragraph (4) Jo Article 45 Paragraph (4) of the ITE Law.

Not only that, Tirta said he was once mentioned as a social climber doctor by Adam Deni. Adam Deni spread that narrative on social media, even spreading photos of Tirta not wearing a mask.

"Brother Adam Deni and the account The New Bikin Geregetan fried me, and said that I am a flatterer, a social climber doctor. Then at that time I was reprimanded by the organization, because I was considered to be causing a commotion so the organization asked me to meet brother Adam Deni," said Doctor Tirta at the Central Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (9/2).

4. 80 Million Rupiah

After meeting Adam Deni in May 2020, Tirta was asked for 80 million Rupiah by Adam Deni so that the case would not continue. Even after that, Tirta admitted that she was asked to sign an agreement letter with Adam Deni stating that the money given to Tirta was not referred to as extortion but a form of cooperation.

"At that time, he invited me to meet at a Coffee Shop in Bekasi. Then he brought his lawyer and asked for 80 million Rupiah, but it was negotiated to 70 million Rupiah, transferred in full, the transaction can be checked at Bank BCA," she said.

Tirta also said that the money was requested by Adam Deni as a reward for helping Tirta educate about Covid-19 hoaxes. According to Adam, it is transportation fee.

"And after attacking Jerinx, he also asked for transportation money in order to help me with the COVID hoax. Every time he asked for transportation, it was Rp 1 million to Rp 1.5 million. Why did I transfer it? Because he promised to help me educate UMKM and eradicate Covid-19 hoaxes, especially egg accounts, in November 2020," he concluded.
