Before Entering the ICU Room, Sapri Complained of Fatigue on the Shooting Location

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Sapri Pantun is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of a hospital. Of course, this news saddens Sapri's relatives, one of them being comedian Bopak Castello.

The 53-year-old comedian can't bear to see Sapri lying in the hospital. Moreover, for the past few months, Bopak and Sapri have been involved in the same soap opera titled Jodoh Wasiat Bapak Babak 2.

"Bopak personally feels sad for Sapri. He is like a friend, like a brother, like a younger sibling. Because Bopak and Sapri have been working together for a year or two, and this is the first time he entered a soap opera that is quite popular among the Indonesian people, Jodoh Wasiat Bapak 2, and he is here while playing in it," said Bopak at the Persari studio, South Jakarta, on Thursday (6/5/2021).

1. Irregular Eating Patterns of Sapri

Bopak mentioned several factors that caused Sapri to fall ill, one of which was the irregular shooting schedule. In addition, Bopak assessed that Sapri's eating patterns on the shooting location were not well-regulated.

"Perhaps he was surprised by the work rhythm, and Bopak didn't know that he could get sick like that. As far as Bopak knows, when he's in the studio, his hobby is drinking iced tea, sweet tea, or something like that. But here, the work rhythm is a bit different. Sometimes it's said that at one o'clock, suddenly it's already three o'clock, like that," he explained.

2. Complaining of Fatigue on the Shooting Location

Before being taken to the hospital, Sapri complained of fatigue while on the shooting location. As a friend, Bopak asked Sapri to go home and rest.

"The influence might have surprised him or made him feel weak. So, for two or three days, he said he felt weak and wanted to leave. But he felt hindered because he didn't want to inconvenience Daus (Separo) and Bopak, even though personally, if we can't handle it anymore, we can request a replacement from the production house," Bopak recalled.

"Because this program is currently in stripping mode and there is no stock, we consciously sacrificed our time here. And in the end, he even cried and said, 'I can't take it anymore.' So, Daus and I said, 'Alright, after this take, you (Sapri) can go home, and we'll handle the matter with the production house,'" Bopak continued.

3. Prayer from Bopak Castello

In addition, Bopak and other friends also reminded Sapri to check his complaint at the hospital to get better treatment.

"When we saw the information, he said he had dry blood sugar, his kidneys were affected, and there was also a blockage of blood in the brain. Finally, we as friends were shocked to hear that. But it makes sense if that's what happened, it's a lifestyle pattern. Finally, we and our friends give the best prayers for Sapri, this is a test from Allah, hopefully this disease is just passing by," Bopak concluded.
