Kapanlagi.com - The wife of comedian Tessy Srimulat, Sri Handayani, passed away on Monday night (27/6/2022). Not only the family, but also Tessy Srimulat's friends mourn the loss of Sri Handayani, such as comedians Doyok, Kadir, and Polo. Polo admitted that before taking her last breath, Sri Handayani planned to undergo surgery.

"Her condition was already weak. She was already sitting in a wheelchair. In the past few weeks, there was a plan for surgery, but because her condition was still weak, the doctor did not dare to take action due to age and weak condition considerations,"

Previously, Sri Handayani was also hospitalized at the Polri hospital for a week. Because her condition had improved, Sri Handayani was allowed to go home. Polo said that Sri Handayani underwent treatment at the hospital due to a liver tumor.

"There was a tumor in her liver. That might be one of the reasons for her passing, but her diabetes was the worst. Because diabetes is a chronic disease that needs serious treatment for many things. As we age, diabetes has a tremendous impact and can spread to other organs, such as the lungs, kidneys, and liver," said Polo.

"Diabetes is a disease that really needs serious treatment for many things. As we age, diabetes has a tremendous impact and can spread to other organs, such as the lungs, kidneys, and liver," added Kadir.

Even though she was sick and sitting in a wheelchair, Sri Handayani attended her husband Tessy's birthday party. That was the last meeting between Sri Handayani and her husband's friends.

2. Last Moments

"Yes. The last time we could still meet with family and friends at DPAN office, where Mr. Tessy was involved in the anti-drug world coinciding with Mr. Tessy's birthday. That was the last time friends and acquaintances of the deceased met. Quite surprising last night at 11:58 pm, we received news that Ms. Sri had passed away," Polo concluded.

Sri Handayani was buried at TPU Kampung Asem, Halim, East Jakarta this morning. Because Tessy was still shocked by the loss of her wife, she did not accompany her to her final resting place.

"Mr. Tessy's consideration for not accompanying the funeral might be because he was sad and even fainted due to the loss. Ms. Sri was his wife who accompanied Mr. Tessy until they had grandchildren, so the togetherness with the deceased was long," Polo concluded.
