"Since 2012, I've been with a friend, Baim Wong, but we weren't involved in the day-to-day operations," said Hikmal Abrar.

As time went on, in 2019 Hikmal and his wife finally decided to open their own business. This idea originated from their family's love of snacking.
"Now my wife, younger siblings, and I really like to eat and drink coffee. So I can really come up with my ideas now," he said.
"We're foodies, so we decided to go for it," he added.
In addition, Hikmal is optimistic that his business named Lobi can compete especially now that there are many coffee shops, especially in Jakarta. Certainly, with different offerings for customers such as coffee blends and various menu options.
"For coffee lovers, our flagship here is Sarabica, Sanger Arabica which has a unique taste from Aceh that we mix ourselves," he said.
