Before Reporting 10 Accounts that Bully Betrand Peto, Ruben Onsu Consulted with Kak Seto

Kapanlagi.com - Before reporting 10 hate accounts that bullied his stepson, Ruben Onsu apparently consulted with child advocate, Seto Mulyadi alias Kak Seto. Because he believes that the impact of bullying on children is significant.

"I also asked Kak Seto about bullying against children. Because it has quite dangerous consequences in the future. So I said it's necessary to talk to Kak Seto to strengthen Betrand's mental," said Ruben Onsu when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Thursday (17/12).

Besides that, for Sarwendah's husband, his decision to report those account haters to the police was appropriate. Because there was an action from one account that changed Betrand Peto's face into an animal which he considered excessive.

"It turns out that social media must indeed have age limits, and it must be. Whether we like it or not, technology is already advanced, so it depends on whether we can accept this technological development or not," he said.

"Because it's so advanced, his face was eventually changed to an animal's face, so it's better to report it," he added.

2. Dijerat Pasal Berbeda

Not only that, previously Ruben Onsu's lawyer, Minola Sebayang, reported 10 accounts that insulted and threatened Betrand Peto to the Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (17/12). It is known that Betrand has been bullied by haters on social media and these accounts insulted him as an adopted child and uttered other vulgar sentences.

From these accounts, the police charged them with different articles, including Article 27 paragraph (3) jo, Article 45 of the ITE Law jo, Article 310 and 311 jo, Article 156 of the Criminal Code. Minola Sebayang, Ruben Onsu's lawyer, explained the reasons.

"Because their actions were different, some committed defamation, some insulted, some blasphemed religion, some threatened," said Minola.
