Being Called 'Tante Pemersatu Bangsa,' Ernie Admits Not Understanding How She Can Be Called That

Kapanlagi.com - A middle-aged female celebrity named Ernie suddenly became the talk of the town among netizens on social media. Not only that, Ernie was even referred to as the 'aunt who unites the nation' by netizens. 

Receiving such a title, Ernie herself apparently doesn't understand what it means. She even asked Gofar Hilman why that nickname stuck to her. 

"I don't know, actually I even asked Gofar why every time I post a photo, it's called 'Aunt Ernie, Aunt Pemersatu Bangsa'. Because I myself don't know why I'm called that. According to Gofar's version, it's like Indonesia consists of various political parties, those who like to argue, will gather in my account and become good again. The funny thing is, in uniting the nation, there's a story of a child and his father following my account," said Aunt Ernie when met in the Tendean area, Wednesday (20/5/2020). 

1. Often Receiving DMs from Officials and Artists

Being a famous influencer, Ernie also admitted that she often receives direct messages (DM) from officials and artists. For Ernie herself, receiving messages from many people is a common thing. 

As long as the messages do not go in a negative or abusive direction, according to Ernie, it is normal because it is a form of appreciation. 

"But I always think positively. It's like people giving likes and comments, it's called Instagram play, it's indeed an appreciation for the pictures. If it's just an expression of appreciation, it's normal," said this mother of 3 children. 

2. Politely Declining

In an interview with Gofar Hilman some time ago, Aunt Ernie revealed that she often politely declines invitations that go in the wrong direction. This is because most of these public figures are already married or have a girlfriend. 

"I always decline, but in a good way. Because funny thing is, most of the people who DM me are not single. They are either already married or have a girlfriend. And if it's a public figure, they must know that they already have a girlfriend or wife. I don't want to get involved in any trouble," said Aunt Ernie as quoted from Gofar Hilman's YouTube channel.
