Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Ridwan Remin accepted an invitation from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission or KPAI regarding his viral stand up comedy video. As known, in the video made in 2019, he mentioned the names of Betrand Peto and Sarwendah.

Remin received input from KPAI to be cautious in using children as a joke material. Because protecting children is a shared responsibility.

"I was asked about the chronology of material creation, how it became popular. I received input from KPAI about protecting children, which is not only the responsibility of the family but also the government and society. So, I am aware of how children develop," said Remin, who was met at the KPAI office in Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, on Monday (15/2/2021).

Ridwan Remin explained that he had uploaded the material on Youtube a long time ago as a form of self-existence. He mentioned the name Betrand Peto because his video with Sarwendah was viral at that time.

"Because at that time the video was popular, it was talked about by netizens, everyone was talking about it. And it was considered suitable for discussing the reasons why I made a show called Introduction. Because knowing each other is important, nowadays people just want to know. Meanwhile, if they know without knowing each other, the perception will be different," explained the actor of the film THE GUYS.
