Usually when his children are bullied by netizens, Ruben Onsu meets the perpetrator and forgives them immediately. However, for this threat, Ruben Onsu will not forgive the perpetrator and will take strict action.
"I actually found out from Wenda, my wife rarely pays attention to things like that but we were disturbed by the death threat. For us, it is a very serious threat. So, if I see this person keeps playing around, there will always be something (posted)," Ruben said on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Thursday (5/11/2020).
"There will be action from me. I have said, never disturb my family, disturb my family, I will take strict action. So I kept quiet because I didn't think it was important, but if I take action, it means I have been greatly disturbed. I said as long as I am still breathing, as long as I am still here, I will fight for my family," Ruben Onsu continued.

Until now, Ruben is still looking for the perpetrator. He has met the face of the perpetrator who has threatened his child. Unfortunately, Ruben is not willing to talk much about the identity of the perpetrator. What is clear is that once the perpetrator is caught, Ruben will reveal everything.
"(The perpetrator) already knows, but later I will tell you. (The perpetrator) is a teenager. Later, when I already know for sure, then (I will report to the police)," he said.
Being a target of netizen bullying is not the first time experienced by Ruben Onsu's family. Previously, Ruben's children often experienced such things. However, Ruben has also met the perpetrators of bullying several times and immediately forgave them.
"If you ask me now, I don't want to forgive. It's enough because you have gone too far," said Ruben.
Besides being a target of bullying, Ruben Onsu also often experiences racist treatment. Because of this, Ruben was confused as to why he often receives such treatment.
"There are many, a lot of people who are racist towards my family. Chinese, this, that, 'oh so many'. I'm also confused, what does it mean, if I'm Chinese, what's wrong with that? There are many Chinese children. I don't pay much attention to that. What's terrifying is the many racist people," Ruben concluded.
