South Jakarta Metro Police Investigator Will Check Related Agencies to Ensure the Presence of Atta Halilintar's Father

Kapanlagi.com - The investigators are still waiting for the presence of Atta Halilintar's father, Halilintar Anofial Asmid, regarding the report made by his ex-wife, Happy Hariadi, on charges of child neglect. The investigators even plan to involve the immigration authorities to ensure the presence and validity of the reasons submitted by Anofial's legal team.

"We will ensure the presence, we will cooperate with other agencies to inquire whether the letter given by the lawyer to us is true, we will check," said Acting Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Police, AKBP. Antonius Agus, when met at South Jakarta Police, on Tuesday afternoon (3/11).

1. Police Plan to Pick Him Up

After knowing Anofial's whereabouts from the immigration authorities, the police plan to pick him up if the father of eleven children is in Indonesia. Not only that, the investigators also ensure that they will pick him up directly if Anofial is confirmed to be in good health.

"We have discussed it. We will ask if it is true that he is abroad or not, if it is true, we will take further steps. We can't speculate, later if we get the immigration's answer and it turns out that he is currently in Indonesia, it will be known," he said.

"Well, whether we like it or not, we have to pick him up because he has been summoned twice as a witness but did not come to fulfill the summons," he added.

2. Reported for Allegedly Abandoning Children

Anofial, who is Atta Halilintar's father, was reported by Happy in mid-October 2019 for allegedly abandoning their children. This report certainly shocked the public because it was recently revealed that Anofial Asmid practiced polygamy and had another child.
