Bloody Urine, Ashanty Reveals Anang Hermansyah Has Kidney Stones

Kapanlagi.com - A few days ago it was revealed that Anang Hermansyah had been discharged from the hospital. When asked about the cause, it was revealed by Ashanty that the father of four had just undergone kidney stone removal surgery.

Last March, it turns out Anang was hospitalized for kidney stone surgery. He was supposed to have the tube removed from his body after returning from Turkey, but the musician decided to postpone it due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in Jakarta.

"Mas Anang has kidney stones, they were removed in March but I didn't share that Mas Anang was hospitalized. Well, when we returned from Turkey, we wanted to remove the tube from his body, but after quarantine, seeing that Covid is still high, we thought it's better to wait until the Covid situation improves because we're afraid the hospital will be full," said Ashanty in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/6/2021).

1. Bloody Urine

One night while urinating, Anang Hermansyah's urine came out bloody and sandy. He immediately called the hospital and was asked by the doctor to remove the catheter.

"Suddenly one night his urine was bloody, there was sand. Since the catheter had not been removed, he finally called the doctor and was asked to do it immediately. Two days ago, we went to the hospital and had it done," said Ashanty.

2. Blocked Urinary Tract

However, during the removal of the catheter, the doctor detected a new kidney stone. So it was immediately removed.

"Originally, they were supposed to just remove the catheter for 15 minutes, but it turned out there was another stone blocking the urinary tract. That's why there was swelling and blood. Alhamdulillah, Insha Allah it's already clean because he can go home and it's not something serious. Now it's more comfortable, he can do activities, just not heavy ones," Ashanty concluded.
