The comedian and singer Yeni Rahmawati, affectionately known as Boiyen, shares her agenda for the Idul Adha holiday in 2026. The 37-year-old artist celebrates simply with her extended family this year.

"Hah, sacrifice... what sacrifice, a sacrifice of feelings? (Laughs heartily)," said Boiyen when met in the Warung Buncit area of South Jakarta on Friday (28/5/2026).

The singer of the song Cintamu Lowbat honestly revealed that she is not performing the sacrifice this time. Nevertheless, Boiyen remains enthusiastic in welcoming the sacrificial holiday with joy. "No, this year I'm not doing the sacrifice first," Boiyen stated.

Boiyen prefers to spend quality time at her private residence with her loved ones. She believes that the moment of Eid al-Adha is the most appropriate time to strengthen ties among siblings.

"We celebrate it at home with the family, gathering together. It's just the usual family meal when everyone is gathered, especially since relatives are around," explained the woman born in Jakarta.

The tradition of grilling meat has become a mandatory agenda that always takes place in her neighborhood every year. Boiyen feels very lucky because she receives many donations of sacrificial meat from her neighbors.

"We grill satay. Because there are many... many who share, like that," said Boiyen while laughing.

In the kitchen, this famous host admits that he is not skilled at concocting complicated cooking spices at all. He only takes a small role in the process of preparing the meat to be made into delicious satay.

"No, not really, just making satay. I only handle the skewering part, I don’t know about the satay spices," he humbly said.
