Senior actress Diah Permatasari still looks fit and beautiful even after decades in the entertainment industry. Besides exercising, she has strict rules that she applies at home. One of them is the ban on wearing house dresses while relaxing with family.

Diah has a strong reason why she is very anti-wearing the clothing that is a favorite among many mothers. According to her, house dresses give an impression of being too old. She also considers her husband's feelings, who apparently does not like it when she appears in such clothing at home.

"I never wear a house dress at home. I am anti-house dress because it feels very 'mom-like'. My husband also doesn't like it. So I prefer to wear shorts or pajamas at home. We have to stay beautiful and sexy in front of our husbands," said Diah Permatasari when met in the Tendean area of South Jakarta, Friday (29/05/2026).

Although often referred to as a socialite because of her style, Diah denies this. She emphasizes that she is an artist who does not mind wearing cheap clothes or local products. She prioritizes comfort over having to appear luxurious for social status recognition.

"Hey, I don't want to be called a socialite. Many of my friends are socialites but I am not. I am an artist. I still want to wear cheap clothes, as long as they are comfortable," said Diah Permatasari.

Regarding the beauty budget, Diah admitted that she does not have a fantastic special budget every month. She also does not follow extreme beauty procedure trends like thread lifting or plastic surgery that are currently rampant among artists.

"I don't have a special budget. If I really need a facial, then I'll go, if not, then I won't. I also don't follow the thread lifting or plastic surgery trends. As long as my husband says I'm still okay, then that's fine. Still natural," she explained.

Maintaining existence without gossip has also been one of Diah Permatasari's great achievements so far. She chooses to present herself as she is and focus on her work without having to create unnecessary sensations or gimmicks.

"Honestly, I really don't like gimmicks, chaos, or sensational things. I just show myself as I am and focus more on showcasing my work rather than just seeking attention," Diah stated.
