Kapanlagi.com - After six years without new work, Sheila on 7 has finally released a single titled Memori Baik. This song marks a special moment as it features a collaboration with Aishameglio, Duta's daughter, who has performed several times as a backing vocalist in Sheila on 7's shows.

In fact, the idea to involve Aishameglio in this song came from Eross, the guitarist of Sheila on 7. "If Aisha doesn't join Sheila on 7's performances, this song might not have been released. So, it’s because Aisha is involved," said Duta when met in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, on Monday (25/11/2024).

Duta also added that his child's involvement in this project must align with her college schedule.

"If the schedule makes it so she can't take exams or anything, that option definitely won't be chosen. So the priority remains college," said Duta.

Even so, he gives Aishameglio the freedom to make decisions after fulfilling his obligations at campus. However, as a father, Duta admits to feeling a certain pressure

"If anything, the real burden is as a parent, not as the vocalist of Sheila on 7," he said.

Nevertheless, support from the band members makes that burden feel lighter. Adam, who is also the manager of Sheila on 7, considers this collaboration a valuable experience for Aishameglio.

"As long as the band is happy, then go for it. He can gain work experience, and it's great that he can manage his time, so let's go," said Adam.

From a professional standpoint, Duta revealed that Aishameglio is now starting to receive payment directly arranged by Adam.

"If now it has started. It has come from my boss (Adam). At first, it was her father who paid," he said, then laughed.
