Criticism After Singing at GBK Following the National Team Match, Anang - Ashanty Provide Clarification and Apologize

Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty became a hot topic among the public in Indonesia. It all started when the couple sang after the match between the Indonesian national team and the Philippines last night, Tuesday (11/6). At that time, Ashanty and Anang were jeered by football supporters present at Gelora Bung Karno, as they were deemed to have disrupted the closing ceremony between the Indonesian national team and the supporters present at GBK.

Unfortunately, at the end of the match, Anang and Ashanty had to stop singing due to an unfavorable situation.

In his clarification, Anang mentioned that he was invited by the organizing committee, none other than PSSI, to sing there. They didn't even get paid.

In that event, Anang and Ashanty sang several songs, including the song 'Indonesia Pusaka' during halftime and the song 'Kebyar-Kebyar' after the match, and they were free to choose another song. They chose the song 'Rindu Ini' and it was also included in the program.

Anang also mentioned that during the match, he and his wife preferred to watch the national team from the stands rather than from the artist's room. In fact, there was no intention to taint the match that night.

As for the stopped song, Anang said it was because of his request. Due to the inappropriate situation, Anang finally asked the committee to stop the song.

In the end, Anang also admitted that he was wrong for not studying the culture or watching football games at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium beforehand.
