Cause of Erwin Prasetya, the First DEWA 19 Bassist's Death, Bleeding in the Stomach

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news once again colors the entertainment world of the homeland. Erwin Prasetya, the first bassist of DEWA 19, passed away on Saturday (2/5) morning. At least that's what music observer, Stanley Tulung, reported on Instagram.

"Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun. Erwin Prasetya, ex DEWA 19, has passed away. May his soul be accepted in His presence. Farewell, Win. Your work will be remembered by us.

1. Passed Away in the Hospital

According to Bens Leo, Erwin passed away at 05.00 AM at Asih Ciputat Hospital.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun, our friend Erwin Prasetya has passed away today at 05.00 AM at RS. Asih Ciputat," Bens wrote when contacted via Whatsapp message on Saturday (2/5).

2. Stomach Bleeding

Many are curious about the cause of Erwin's death. At least, that's what can be seen from the netizens' questions in the comment section. Apparently, the man who had joined the band Zoom died due to bleeding in the stomach.

This was revealed by Yuril Ayunir in the comment section when replying to one of the netizens' questions. "Stomach bleeding, sir," wrote the pianist and keyboardist briefly.

3. Buried in Surabaya

Furthermore, Erwin's body will be flown to Surabaya and buried in TPU Keputih. This was confirmed by Bens Leo. "The body is planned to be flown to Surabaya. Buried in Keputih," he wrote.

The sadness of Erwin's departure is deeply felt. At least, that's what Ari Lasso felt. He expressed his prayer for the late Erwin on Instagram on Saturday (2/5).

"May the deceased find the best place in His presence. And may the family be given strength. Amen. RIP Win," wrote Ari Lasso.
