Terry Putri emphasizes the reason she has not returned to the United States to meet her husband, Derly Darmawan, who lives there. She has chosen to remain in Indonesia for the past approximately 9 months. Let's find out the reasons below!

One of the main reasons Terry has not returned is that the current situation in the United States is considered not conducive. In addition, Terry is still on a tourist visa.

"Yes, that's indeed the agreement in our marriage, which is long-distance, so we just have to run with the situation. We also don't know the current condition in America, for me who doesn't want to change citizenship and is still on a tourist visa, I can't stay there for long," Terry Putri shared in the Rumpi: No Secret studio on Trans TV, Tuesday (15/4/2025).

Not long ago, Terry chose to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia without her beloved husband. In fact, she had received permission, but of course, she still thought about her husband who is in America.

"It's okay (with my husband) I already got permission because it's really not my time to return to America yet. Especially with the current situation in America like this, so I shouldn't rush," said Terry Putri.

This couple has been married since 2022 and has been in a long-distance marriage for three years. Terry stated that with this experience, she has been able to better understand the dynamics of a long-distance marriage and learn to accept the existing conditions more.

"One thing is that it really takes time, the first few years were very difficult. This is the third year, and it's like I can know the flow, there are waves and everything, the captain can balance everything now," concluded the 45-year-old artist.

From my side, I just accept more with the conditions of wanting to partner with anyone, yes there are tests involved," she continued.
