Celebrating 30 Years of Airing in Spain, 'DORAEMON' Welcomes Japanese National Team Players

In the story "Toshikoshi wa Spain de", Nobita accidentally falls asleep and misses the New Year transition in Japan. However, Doraemon informs him that the new year has not yet started in Spain. Nobita and Doraemon then decide to go to Madrid, where they meet Takefusa Kubo.

Kubo, known for his soccer skills, showcases his talent in front of Doraemon and Nobita. This segment also features some special dialogues in Spanish, introducing new vocabulary and phrases to the audience.

2. 30th Anniversary Celebration of Doraemon in Spain

This Spain-themed story marks the 30th anniversary of Doraemon's airing in the country. This proves the popularity of the series created by Fujiko F. Fujio outside Japan. Doraemon first appeared in manga format from 1969 to 1997. Its anime has been airing in Japan since 1973 and continues to be one of the pop culture icons to this day.

As a guest star, Takefusa Kubo's presence not only strengthens the relationship between Japanese and Spanish cultures but also adds a fresh vibe to this beloved series that has transcended generations. This special episode is set to entertain Doraemon fans worldwide at the end of 2024.
