Cesen Reveals She Once Experienced Paralysis, Tailbone Broken Since JKT48

Shocking news comes from Yansen Indiani or affectionately known as Cesen. The wife of comedian Marshel Widianto has just revealed a sad fact about her health condition that she has kept hidden all this time. It turns out that this mother of two has been enduring pain for years due to a serious injury to her tailbone.

Cesen narrates that this health problem began from an incident where she fell on stage several years ago. At that time, she was still actively pursuing her career as a teen idol and had a very packed schedule, leaving her with insufficient recovery time.

"It's the same nerve, because coincidentally my tailbone has been a problem since 2017. I fell back then when I was in JKT," she said when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently.

The condition was worsened by high physical activity while still being a member of the idol group. In fact, the doctor had already advised her to take total rest at that time. However, the demands of professionalism made her continue to perform until she finally decided to graduate from the group for her health. "I was performing. I fell. At that time, because I was actively a member, it felt like I couldn't take a long break because the schedule was really packed. Eventually, I reached a point where I decided to leave, because the doctor had advised me not to do heavy activities anymore. Because it often flares up, I often fall suddenly," explained Cesen.

The impact of the untreated injury turned out to be very fatal. Cesen admitted to often experiencing terrifying moments where her body suddenly couldn't move at all, like a paralyzed person. "So when it flares up, it makes me feel like I'm paralyzed, like... I can't move at all," she said.

For years, Cesen thought the pain was just a regular injury or the result of tripping. However, medical examinations showed results that were far more serious than just a bruise or a mild sprain.

"It turns out I've been holding it in all this time. I thought it was nothing serious, like maybe I just tripped or something. But yesterday the doctor said it's because my body has actually been feeling a lot of pain, I just wasn't aware of it," she explained.

The doctor's diagnosis at the time of the initial incident was actually already very concerning. Cesen recalls the doctor's warning that the injury could have long-term effects if not treated properly right away.

"Yeah, so I really remember this. The doctor once said about my case when I fell the first time yesterday, the doctor said that it could be serious because of that injury. Because it was severe back then. It turns out my tailbone was broken," concluded Cesen.
