Charity Concert for Natural Disaster Victims, 48 Bersepeda Aims for 1 Billion Donations

Kapanlagi.com - Starting in 2021, a series of natural disasters occurred in Indonesia. Starting from landslides in Sumedang, West Java, floods in South Kalimantan, earthquakes in West Sulawesi, to volcanic eruptions in East Java.

Seeing this, the bicycle community "48 Bersepeda" held a charity concert entitled "Konser Peduli Negeri" (Concert for the Country). In collaboration with Web TV Asia and AmalSoleh.com, this concert was broadcast live on the 48 Bersepeda YouTube Channel on Thursday (11/2/2021).

The "48 Bersepeda" community is a group of bicycle enthusiasts, most of whom are celebrities. They include Ifan Seventeen, Tommy Kurniawan, Arda Naff, Denny Chalik, Said Bajuri, Natta Reza, Rizky Drive, and many others.

"Based on the concern of the 48 Bersepeda community, which consists of various professions including entrepreneurs, politicians, and artists, including soap opera actors. So, the goal of Konser Peduli Negeri is to seek donations through virtual means. Our target is at least 1 billion rupiahs," said Abdul Kadir, a member of the DPR (People's Representative Council) who is also a Board of Trustees of 48 Bersepeda, at Meta Epsi Building, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/2/2021).

"The proceeds from this donation will be focused on three objects. First, places of worship such as mosques, churches, and others, clean water, and educational facilities. If we get 1 billion rupiahs, we will distribute it to various regions," added Abdul Kadir.

1. Will Auction His Beloved Items

In addition to raising funds, the attending celebrities also plan to auction their beloved items. From batik, jackets, shoes, to Brompton bicycles. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the event.

"So, our friends will also participate in the auction. There will be shoes, jackets, Brompton bicycles. So, the artists' friends not only support but also auction their items," said David Chalik.

Through the concert, people can donate starting from 10 thousand to unlimited amount. For Ifan Seventeen, donations from the general public are very meaningful even if they can only contribute 10 thousand.

"First, through a virtual bank account, we have a link that directs to the bank, the easiest way is through Ovo and Gopay barcode. Starting from 10 thousand, 50 thousand, and 100 thousand. Even if friends want to donate only 10 thousand, it means a lot," said Ifan Seventeen.

Because this concert is held during a pandemic, the organizers still adhere to health protocols. Of course, the guest stars and performers who attend are very limited. In addition, the performers and invited guests who attend are required to undergo swab testing beforehand.

"Everyone here applies health protocols, mandatory swab testing," said David Chalik.
