"I had a conversation with Mas Anang (Anang Hermansyah), he said that the industry in Indonesia is no longer focused because the system has spread everywhere," said Charly.

He also mentioned that the quality of creating a work now and in the past is very different. In the past, he even did meditation and contemplation to create a song.

"For example, YouTube, anyone can upload and access it, look at this sudden viral singer while I struggled so much to create a song, even had to be alone, I meditated to create honest quality work, there is a soul in it, production with expensive budgeting, the music video also had to be expensive, but when it's done, someone else's cover becomes popular," he continued.

Regarding this matter, Charly emphasized that there is actually no jealousy when seeing many viral cover singers even gaining profits from performing works that are not their own. However, according to him, creativity must be well regulated so that no one is disadvantaged.

"Oh, so Charly is jealous? Not jealous but proportional, what matters is that creativity is increasing but it must be managed well, otherwise it will only become trash and chaos," he said.
