The divorce process of former child singer, Chikita Meidy, with her husband, Indra Adhitya, has entered a rather unique new chapter. The follow-up hearing, which was supposed to focus on witness examination, had to be postponed.

Chikita, who was present at the Tigaraksa Religious Court along with her witnesses, was forced to request a postponement because she had to do a live broadcast for an e-commerce platform. The delayed court schedule due to heavy queues made her choose between the legal process and her professional obligations.
"What's important is that the court knows that the plaintiff is always present, but along the way we also have to queue, participate in the process. Wow, when I saw the time, I talked to Iyas (the lawyer), 'Yas, it seems like I won't make it, I have to present for a visit event at 1 PM, and at 6 PM, it seems impossible,'" she said when met at the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Tangerang, Tuesday (09/09/2025).
Although her divorce process has been prolonged, the singer of "Kuku Ku" responds to it casually and humorously. She sees this postponement as part of the fate she must go through.
"There is no disappointment anymore, there is no disappointment in body and soul, no," she asserted.
Even, the singer who is now 35 years old feels that this long process has given her the opportunity to delve deeper into her role as a single mother. Jokingly, she mentioned that this process has made her more prepared to bear her new status.
"It's okay, this is arranged by Allah, I am very sure. Because I am going through a divorce process like this, I feel more in tune with being a widow," she said while laughing.
The divorce process between Chikita and Indra was marked by a lot of drama and mutual accusations on social media. Both parties do not want to be blamed in this separation process.
