The atmosphere of the shooting for the film YAKIN NIKAH was filled with various funny and unexpected moments. One of the most amusing incidents came from senior actor Tora Sudiro, who plays the father of the character Niken, portrayed by Enzy Storia.

In a scene that was supposed to be serious and emotional, Tora Sudiro ended up experiencing severe hiccups that he couldn't stop for a full two days. This incident made the entire crew and cast, especially Enzy, dizzy while trying to hold back their laughter.

"As soon as we were in a serious scene, I got the hiccups. Two days," said Tora Sudiro when met at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (09/09/2025).

Enzy Storia, who played opposite him in that scene, recounted how difficult it was to maintain concentration. She had to act sad and confide in her father, but the response she got was the distracting sound of hiccups.

"Just imagine, a girl wants to ask her father, 'Dad, what is marriage like?', and her father (hiccups)," Enzy said while reenacting the incident, which was met with laughter.

Various methods were attempted to stop Tora's hiccups, from drinking water to doing strange positions, but all failed. "Holding breath, drinking, bending over to drink, everything was tried, all failed," Tora recalled.

Apart from the funny incident, Tora admitted that the role of a cool dad comes with its own challenges. He has to be able to show closeness with Enzy and Amanda Rigby as his children, without appearing awkward or excessive.

"How can I show that I love you guys, but I'm not being inappropriate?" he said in his characteristic style.
