Child Dies, Tamara Tyasmara Still Doesn't Dare to Look at CCTV and Listen to Clarifications from Trustworthy People at the Scene

Dante died while swimming in a pool in Pondok Kelapa area, East Jakarta. Based on the circulating information, the six-year-old boy is said to have drowned. However, the question is: how did he drown?

1. Find Out Why He Drowned

It is understandable that Tamara Tyasamara questions how her child could have drowned. Because Dante was said to be a skilled swimmer. However, Tamara has not dared to watch the CCTV footage from the incident location.

"Everyone says he drowned. I cannot respond to that yet, but I believe Dante died by drowning. I am just searching for the reason why he drowned," Tamara said when met at the funeral home on Tuesday (30/1/2024).

"Dante loved swimming in deep pools. He was being a know-it-all. He would swim in a shallow pool, then move after ten minutes. That's why I am really confused as to why, but I haven't seen the CCTV footage yet," she added.

2. Not Ready to Listen to Clarification

While swimming, Tamara Tyasamara entrusted her child to someone she trusted. When Dante died, Tamara refused to listen to the explanation from that person because she was not ready.

"The adult who accompanied him is someone I trust and is very close to Dante. And this is not the first time we went swimming. The adult wanted to clarify everything from the beginning when they met me. Because I couldn't handle it, I refused and said, 'Later. Let me check the CCTV first before everything is explained.' I have already saved the CCTV," Tamara firmly stated.

3. Police Ready to Handle the Case

Furthermore, the police have visited Tamara Tyasamara to handle this case. However, she requested approximately seven days to then view the CCTV and take action after knowing the details of the incident.

"It should have been investigated from the beginning, but I couldn't bear it. The investigation starts when I see the CCTV, then it can proceed. I told the police that I need time. If I'm ready tomorrow, I will see it tomorrow. I am already prepared (with the facts in the CCTV). That's why I want a maximum of seven days," she concluded.
