Adi admitted that he initially didn't believe in the price increase of masks in the market. This father of two children felt that mask sales on the market place were a scam because at that time the corona virus had not yet entered Indonesia.

"Yesterday I saw, if I'm not mistaken, two weeks ago the price of masks had indeed risen. So, the first one to inform me was Donita, 'do you know that now the price of masks is in the millions'. But we didn't pay much attention to it, because at that time the corona virus was still in Wuhan. Even when checking on the market place, they were selling it in cartons, but when checked again it seemed like a scam, hehe," said Adi Nugroho when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/3).

The spread of the coronavirus in Indonesia has made Adi Nugroho worried. This is because Adi Nugroho's two children have experienced high fever and had to be hospitalized. As a preventive measure against the coronavirus, this man born in 1978 feels that he must have a stockpile of masks at home and does not want to run out due to the panic currently affecting Indonesian society.

"I have two young children. Two years old and four years old, my first child had to be hospitalized when he had a high fever. So I'm a bit afraid of viruses like this, afraid of fever. My second child had to be admitted to the ICU because of his breathing. I also told him not to cough, not to have any respiratory problems, like the flu or anything. So our whole family is taking care of our children because we have prepared for it. I'm afraid that yesterday, because of the panic, there might not be any left, we might not have any. That's it. Because it seems like on social media, everyone is buying everything, don't let it run out," said Adi Nugroho.

2. Forced to Buy Expensive Masks

Adi Nugroho admitted to being frustrated with the extraordinary price increase of masks. The health of his two young children is a priority for Adi Nugroho. Therefore, he finally dared to go from one pharmacy to another in order to obtain masks for his family.

"I'm really annoyed, annoyed but what can we do, heheh. So, two days ago there was news about the coronavirus in Indonesia in Depok. Then my wife told me, 'the supermarket is already empty, people are taking things, like this and that'. At first we were still calm, but when she showed me the photos, it was true that the items were empty. We are worried because we still have two young children, one is two years old, and one is four years old, so what should we do? Well, because one of the important things is masks, when I was on a break, I went straight to my regular pharmacy. We called first, but it turned out that they didn't have any stock. So, we dared to come directly to the pharmacy. We went to several places, but there was no stock, and finally there was someone selling them, so we lined up and bought them. And finally, we got them for Rp. 550,000 per box," said the famous presenter.
