"The symptoms that Abizard experienced were continuous fever, followed by blood tests. He had been misdiagnosed three times. Only after the third doctor, it was discovered that he had Kawasaki. The previous doctors did not diagnose him with Kawasaki. The important thing is that the symptoms include fluctuating fever," said Jessica Iskandar referred to as.

As a mother, of course, Selvi Kitty felt anxious when her child was sick. The same thing happened when she found out that her child had unpredictable fever symptoms.

"When Abizard is sick, the first thing I do is go to the doctor. Because if the symptoms are the same, what else can I do? Because it is said that a year after Kawasaki, it can relapse. So, I shared a lot with the doctor for a year," she said.

She also added the reason why misdiagnosis can happen, "That's why you shouldn't go to the wrong doctor. Unless you already know the signs of Kawasaki, then go directly to the specialist."

2. Prevention Methods

After her child recovered, Selvi didn't hesitate to share prevention methods for this deadly disease. She admitted that she didn't restrict her child from going outside, as long as they went to safe places nearby.
