Children and Son-in-Law Arrested for Drugs, Ajun's Parents are Worried Because of This

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Ajun Perwira and his wife, Jennifer Jill, as well as their stepson Philo, were arrested by the police for alleged drug abuse. They were apprehended at their residence in an elite area in Ancol, Jakarta on Tuesday (16/2/2021).

Upon hearing the news, Ajun Perwira's father, Agung Karang, expressed surprise at the arrest of his son and daughter-in-law by the police.

"Yes, my wife, Ajun's mother, was very surprised. The concern and burden of parents is the numerous questions about whether Ajun and Jennifer were indeed arrested, and there were many messages on WhatsApp," said Agung Karang at Gateway Park, Kalimalang, some time ago.

"Yes, this arrest is shocking. Actually, what needs to be clarified is that they were not raided and arrested. Because Jennifer and Ajun went to the hospital to accompany their child, Echa, who was having tonsillitis. They just weren't at home at the time. But the police went straight to the fifth floor," added Agung.

From the arrest, the police found evidence of drugs. Agung admitted that he did not know that there was evidence of narcotics after Jennifer and Ajun were arrested by the police. "I don't know much about it, it depends on the investigator's release. We leave it to the investigator," said Agung.

Agung knows Ajun and Jennifer Jill's character very well. In fact, Ajun once told Agung that his daughter-in-law is the wrong woman who never uses drugs. "Jennifer's character is indeed familiar, always happy, enjoy, and Ajun has never used drugs. He is very anti-drugs," Agung concluded.

After conducting an investigation and obtaining negative results from the drug urine test, Ajun Perwira and Philo were allowed to go home. However, Ajun Perwira's wife, Jennifer Jill, is still at the West Jakarta Police Station.
