According to the statement of West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit Chief AKBP Ronaldo Maradona Siregar, the designation of Jennifer Jill as a suspect is based on the evidence of methamphetamine found by the police. The woman, who is also known as Jennifer Ipel, even admitted that the evidence belongs to her.

"She admitted it and (during Jennifer Jill's examination) she was cooperative," said Ronaldo at his office on Thursday (17/2).

1. Charged with Possession of Methamphetamine

Currently, Jennifer Jill is being charged under Article 112 of the Narcotics Law for the possession of methamphetamine. However, it is possible that Jennifer Jill will be charged under another article.

The police are still conducting further investigation. They are also verifying whether Jennifer Jill has ever used narcotics or not by conducting a hair test.

"The investigator, in conducting the examination, primarily focuses on the possession of narcotics as regulated in Law No. 35 of 2009, Article 112. Meanwhile, for other articles, we are still waiting for the results of the examination as this has only been going on for 2 days," said Ronaldo.

2. Chronology of Jennifer Jill's Arrest

Jennifer Jill was arrested by the police at her residence located in the elite area of Ancol, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (6/2). She was not alone, as this 50-year-old woman was also apprehended along with two other individuals.

From the arrest, the police confiscated a type of methamphetamine classified as a class one narcotic. On the same day, the police also detained Ajun Perwira and his son, Philo Paz Armand, to be questioned as witnesses.
