Children Read the Qur'an Without Being Asked, Zaskia Adya Mecca is Touched and Grateful

Kapanlagi.com - It's hard to believe that Ramadan has reached the last third of it. In the last ten days of this blessed month, Muslims are given the opportunity to increase their good deeds to welcome Lailatul Qadr, a night better than a thousand months.

In the family of Hanung Bramantyo and Zaskia Adya Mecca, Lailatul Qadr is a new knowledge for their children. As reported from Zaskia Adya Mecca's personal Instagram account on Thursday (14/5), the wife of Hanung Bramantyo shared the blessings she felt in the last third of Ramadan.

"Just earlier during suhoor, mas @hanungbramantyo and I explained that we have entered the last 10 days of Ramadan, now it's time for us to be enthusiastic in worship, my dear..." wrote Zaskia Adya Mecca.

1. The Virtue of Lailatul Qadr

Hanung and Zaskia tell their children about the virtue of Lailatul Qadr during their pre-dawn meal. Sybil and Kala, who were initially curious, become excited after gaining new knowledge during the month of Ramadan.

"Why?" said Sybil and Kala.

"Because Allah gives us a treasure! Lailatul Qadr night that we must seek in the last 10 days! We will know when we will receive it in the afterlife.. Now, what matters is that we strive for it!!"?

"If we get it, why is it special, Mom?" they asked curiously.

"That night is better than 1000 months! The lifespan of the Prophet Muhammad was 63 years, and 1000 months is like 83 years of goodness."

"Wow, it can be better than our entire lifespan?!"

"Yes, my dear.. that's why it's a loss if we don't seek it in the last 10 days of Ramadan."

2. Unexpected

After knowing the virtue of the night of Lailatul Qadr, Sybil and Kala did something unexpected. Unlike usual, these siblings voluntarily recited the Quran after the Fajr prayer without being told by their parents.

This action of the two little girls certainly touched Zaskia's heart. She felt grateful for the blessings bestowed upon her family in this Ramadan month.

"Then they continued to have suhoor while joking around... But usually after Fajr, they would immediately go to their rooms, suddenly both of them took the Quran and recited it without us asking. I, who was still sitting after prayer, enjoying the atmosphere of Fajr, watched them with deep emotion... and dared not ask or comment much... just repeatedly expressing gratitude in my heart while holding back tears... thank you Allah for the awareness that You have awakened, and also for moving their hearts," concluded Zaskia Adya Mecca.
