Christi Colondam's Story as Runner Up in Miss Celebrity Indonesia 2012, Previously Failed Auditions!

Initially, Christi started her career as a child singer at the age of 4. At that time, she already had her own album and even held concerts in various cities. But at one point, she decided to take a temporary break to focus on her education.

"I took a break, really focused on studying in Manado. Well, when I was a kid, I didn't want to become an artist because I felt like my childhood was being wasted. I was really busy, even my teacher asked me to choose between school or a career in entertainment. Because at that time, homeschooling was still not common," Christi recalled.

"I once spent a full month shooting a film in Jogja, like an FTV. And I didn't go to school at all. I never had weekends off, never had time to play with friends. I performed all around Indonesia, even went as far as Kupang. So yeah, my passion was there, I just missed playing with friends and learning," she continued.

1. Christi Colondam's Comeback Story in the Entertainment World

When she was already in college, Christi started to become interested in making a comeback in the entertainment world. At that time, she tried several ways, one of which was by participating in the Miss Celebrity Indonesia event held by SCTV. Unfortunately, she failed to enter as a finalist.

"In 2011, I participated in Miss Celebrity Indonesia, but only made it to the top 10 in Manado. Then we had to wait for a phone call, and I didn't receive one. But it's okay, maybe it wasn't meant to be, maybe I should focus on my studies," explained Christi.

2. Coming Out as the Runner Up 2 of Miss Celebrity 2012

Failure did not break Christi's spirit. The singer of the song Bagi Dua decided to try again for Miss Celebrity 2012, even though initially she was forced by her friends and parents.

"In 2012, my friend invited me again and I initially didn't want to go. But my friend kept insisting. Then at the last minute, my friend didn't join. I also didn't want to join, but my dad forced me. So during the audition, my hair was still wet and unprepared because I was forced," added Christi.

Learning from her previous experience, Christi was much more prepared when participating in the Miss Celebrity 2012 audition. Long story short, she successfully passed the audition and ultimately became the runner up 2 in the event.

"So I just went along with it until I made it to the top 20. That's when I started to prepare more seriously because the previous year was just for fun. Then I made it to the top 10, and I just had to wait for a phone call. Suddenly, while I was in college, I received a phone call telling me to go to Jakarta," concluded Christi.

3. Miss Celebrity 2023 Officially Opened

Although she failed to become the champion in the Miss Celebrity 2012 event, it turns out that Christi's career has skyrocketed. She has the opportunity to return to the entertainment world that once made her name famous in her childhood.

4. General Requirements

Here are some general requirements that you need to prepare to register for the Miss Celebrity Indonesia 2023 audition:

- Female, never been married, physically and mentally healthy
- Aged 15-23 years old (Attach a photocopy of ID card / Birth certificate / Family card as proof)
- Minimum height of 160 cm, proportional body
- Drug-free
- Upload audition video using dress/shapewear

5. Other Requirements

Meanwhile, there are several specific requirements that KLovers must also take note of, namely:

1. Not currently under contract or agreement, both verbally and in writing, to become an advertising model, presenter, soap opera actor, and film actor.
2. If selected as a Grand Finalist:
a. Must participate in quarantine and the Grand Final event to be held in Jakarta.
b. Must sign a contract with the organizing committee (if selected as the winner).
c. Currently not registered as a participant in any competition or similar contest.
3. Fill out the Registration Form.
