Chronology of Bunga Zainal Being Scammed by a Fake Investment, Resulting in a Loss of Rp6.2M

Actress Bunga Zainal has recently come into the spotlight after revealing the legal case she is currently facing. The wife of producer Sukhdev Singh stated that she became a victim of a fake investment scam with losses amounting to a staggering Rp6.2 billion.

This case came to light when Bunga appeared as a victim witness in a trial at the West Jakarta District Court. Her testimony revealed how she was deceived by an investment scheme that seemed convincing at first, but was actually fraudulent. Here’s the complete chronology.

Bunga Zainal recounted that her story began when she first met the defendant in Bali during the pandemic in 2020. This introduction became the start of an intense communication that led to a business offer.

In 2021, the defendant began to make investment offers to Bunga Zainal. This offer seemed attractive because it promised high profits in a short time. Bunga was quite confident because at the beginning of the investment, it really generated profits.

In her testimony, Bunga revealed that the perpetrator provided false Purchase Order (PO) documents. The perpetrator's convincing demeanor and initial success made Bunga suspicious. She even provided a larger amount of money after receiving profits from the investment several times.

Entering the year 2024, Bunga began to feel something was off. The perpetrator often pressured her to transfer a sum of money up to Rp500 million without a clear and urgent reason.

The peak of suspicion occurred in July 2024, when Bunga firmly rejected the request to transfer Rp500 million. She felt that something was wrong because the defendant refused to transfer the profits from her investment that should have been disbursed at that time.

After feeling aggrieved, Bunga finally reported this case to the authorities in August 2024. This report revealed allegations of fraud committed by two perpetrators with the initials AAACD and SSFS. The report marked the beginning of the legal process that is now underway in the West Jakarta District Court, with Bunga present as the main witness.

Bunga Zainal is reported to have suffered a total loss of Rp6.2 billion from the fraudulent investment. This amount comes from a series of transfers she made over a period of about three years. Want to read more recent updates? Let's read now at KapanLagi.com. If not now, when?
