Recently, three men suddenly went viral on the internet because they resemble Warkop DKI. Not only that, the group called Warkopi has been invited to various TV shows and collaborated with many Indonesian YouTubers and artists.

Seeing this, Indro Warkop, as the surviving legend of the comedy group, felt unacceptable. Not without reason, Indro himself feels that what the three men did violated copyright because they did not seek permission first.

Starting from the viral sensation, Indro Warkop immediately commented on one of the Instagram fan accounts of Warkop DKI. There, he mentioned that what the 3 men resembling Warkop did was not right because there was no permission from the Warkop institution.

Previously, the trio who called themselves Warkopi went viral because of several videos they uploaded on youtube.

The three people who resemble members of Warkop are Sepriadi Chaniago who resembles Dono, Alfred who resembles Kasino, and Alfin who resembles Indro.

The group that calls themselves Warkopi has a youtube channel called Patria TV with nearly 50 thousand subscribers.

Before the presence of Warkopi, the Indonesian public was once crowded with the presence of Warkop DKI Reborn played by Tora Sudiro (Indro), Vino G Bastian (Kasino), and Abimana (Dono). These three actors successfully brought back the characters of Warkop DKI in the modern era.

Several years later, Warkop DKI reappeared with a new formation, namely Aliando as Dono, Adipati Dolken as Kasino, and Randy Nidji as Indro.

For those who don't know, Warkop DKI is a legal entity and has copyright. So, anyone who wants to use any element of Warkop DKI in any way must have permission from the Warkop family who are now under the management of the Warkop DKI members' children.
