Chronology of Raditya Oloan's Illness, Joanna Alexandra's Husband, Triggered by Covid-19 & Aggravated by Comorbidities

Joanna herself first announced that she had contracted Covid-19 on April 14, 2021. At that time, not only she, but Raditya also tested positive for Covid. Both of them had to be treated at Wisma Atlet.

"Early Monday morning, we were put together in the same room because it turns out my PCR test result was also positive. And Mr. Zera. And my sisters and my driver. (Thank God, my beautiful sister Zoey and little Ziona and both of my parents tested negative). We immediately separated houses," she wrote in the caption.

At that time, Raditya needed a respiratory aid, which fortunately was still available at the emergency hospital. Because there was no improvement, Raditya was taken to the ICU room of RSUP Persahabatan on Saturday (17/4/2021).

"Yesterday afternoon, Radit was referred to RSUP Persahabatan. He entered the ICU, hopefully, you will get better, daddy," Joanna wrote on Instagram, Sunday (18/4/2021).

Raditya was referred to RSUP Persahabatan due to medical considerations. "Radit will definitely be handled better. Because the doctors, equipment, and medicines are more complete," added Joanna.

Joanna herself was allowed to go home after recovering from Covid, but Raditya continued to be treated. Although tested negative for Covid-19, his condition became more critical, to the point of requiring intensive care in the ICU.

Joanna also asked for prayers from friends and fans for her husband's recovery. She mentioned Raditya's condition, who is on a ventilator and deteriorating due to bacterial infection and hyper inflammation.

"And he is experiencing a cytokine storm that causes hyper-inflammation throughout his body. In addition, there is a strong bacterial infection," said Joanna.

It is known that Raditya has asthma and kidney problems that prevent his kidneys from functioning optimally. He is receiving Continuous Veno-Venous Hemofiltration (CVVH) using Hemofiltration (blood filtration) as an alternative to hemodialysis for patients with kidney complications and in critical condition.

Until finally, today, Thursday (6/5/2021) news circulated stating that Raditya has passed away. The news was shared by the congregation and church colleagues of Raditya."RIP Pastor @radityaoloan. You're one of my greatest inspirations in ministry," wrote the account @revyhalim. "Gone too soon, bro @radityaoloan, don't know what to say. I'm really sad, didn't have a chance to talk about married life, you're gone," wrote the account owner @mandahysua.
