Ruben Onsu recently shared a shocking experience about an incident he had at home. He recounted the event when he slipped in the bathroom and lost consciousness.
He shared the story through the YouTube channel Comic 8 Revolution in the program Butik Haji Igun hosted by Ivan Gunawan. In the interview, Ruben even showed video footage of himself being attended to by medical personnel. Here’s the complete chronology.
The incident occurred when Ruben was home alone. He stated that there was no driver available to take him to the hospital at that time. In such a situation, Ruben had to seek help on his own. He eventually chose to call an ambulance because he felt too dizzy to drive himself.
Ruben explained that the incident began when he was about to get into the bathtub. He felt that his feet had already touched the bathtub. However, the reality was different. He actually slipped and fell, hitting the back of his head on the bathroom floor.
The hard impact on the back of his head made Ruben feel unstable. "I can't drive because I'm feeling a bit dizzy," Ruben told Ivan Gunawan.
Feeling unable to drive, Ruben decided to call an ambulance. He conveyed his condition and requested assistance to be taken to the hospital. After contacting the ambulance, Ruben put on a jacket and prepared to sit in the living room while waiting.
While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, Ruben sat in the living room still wearing his jacket. However, before help arrived, his condition worsened. "I was sitting in the living room, and I was already unconscious," Ruben revealed. He didn't even know when the ambulance arrived because he had fainted before it came.
The incident occurred on June 30. Ruben finally regained consciousness the next day, on July 1. He woke up and realized that he was already in the hospital.
One surprising thing is that Ruben chose to leave the hospital immediately after regaining consciousness and return to work.
